Memorial Service

A memorial service will be held at the Georgetown Township Cemetery following the parade. Seating will not be provided. Our guest speaker this year will be Police Chief Paul Anglim. Paul is a Gold Star Family member, having lost his father, Army Staff Sergeant Adrian Anglim, to "wounds received from a hostile force while on combat operations" in the Republic of Vietnam in 1966, when Paul was just 4 years old. This event guided him into a career of public service that spans four and a half decades and covers police, fire, and emergency medical services. During his police service, Paul became active in the Honor Guard, knowing the importance of rendering proper honors to those who have fallen in the defense of others. He currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Grandville, as a member of the Sheriff's Municipal Memorial Assistance Response Team, and as the local chairperson of the Woody William Foundation.
