The E-Unit has served the community for over 50 years. Township leaders will review proposals for future emergency medical services, with a decision in September 2025.
The ending of the E-Unit Program marks a significant change for Georgetown Township as it has long relied on this partnership with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office for local EMS response.
The review and selection of a new emergency medical services plan will determine how the township addresses medical emergencies in 2026.
