  1. Adult Winter Reading: 32 Degree Club

    The 32-Degree Adult Winter Reading Club challenges you to cozy up with a good book and log 32 days of reading between January 1 and February 28. Read 15 minutes or more for 32 days and receive a small prize. Read 10 books to enter the grand prize drawing for a gift card. Entries must be received and prizes must be claimed by Saturday, March 4 at 5 pm. Pick up a reading log beginning December 19.

  3. Local History Room Staffed Hours

    The Local History Room is staffed by members of the Jenison Historical Association and can be accessed on Wednesday from 11AM-1PM. Volunteers can help you with local history and genealogical research. The room can be accessed by using the stairs to the lower level (past the vending machines) or the elevator in the Township Office.

    Noah J. Toly, PhD, is the ninth chief academic officer at Calvin University. A '99 graduate of Wheaton College with a bachelor of arts degree in interdisciplinary studies and Spanish, Toly earned a master of arts degree in theology from Wheaton College in 2012. He earned both a master of arts degree in urban affairs and public policy in 2005 and a doctor of philosophy degree in urban affairs and public policy in 2006 from the University of Delaware. The January Series is a FREE 15-day lecture series that takes place each year at Calvin University and aims to cultivate deep thought and conversations about important issues of the day in order to inspire cultural renewal and make us better global citizens in God's world.

    Join our theme-based book club! Participants in 3rd - 6th grade will eat pizza, discuss what they have read, and participate in a Library auction to end the hour. Registration required. New Policy: If you register for a children's program and don't attend (without canceling your registration by the start of the program) twice in a row, you will not be able to register for children's programs for one month. You may stop by at the start of a program to see if there's room and you may still attend drop-in programs.

    Join Vicki DeKryger of Fresh Perspective Life Coaching for a group session setting our intentions for the new year. We will make a vision board to inspire us to stay focused on how we would like to feel and what we would like to accomplish in 2023. Vision boards can provide a realistic pathway to manifest your dreams and achieve your goals. We will be working on posterboard; all supplies are included but feel free to bring images to add to your collage. Registration required (25 people).
