    The 32-Degree Adult Winter Reading Club challenges you to cozy up with a good book and log 32 days of reading between January 1 and February 28. Read 15 minutes or more for 32 days and receive a small prize. Read 10 books to enter the grand prize drawing for a gift card. Entries must be received and prizes must be claimed by Saturday, March 4 at 5 pm. Pick up a reading log beginning December 19.

  2. Virtual Calvin January Series: To Stick With Love, Dr. Gregory Thompson

    Gregory Thompson is a pastor, scholar, writer, producer, and amateur cook whose work focuses on racial healing in America. He currently serves as the executive director of Voices Underground, an initiative to build a national memorial to the Underground Railroad in southeast Pennsylvania. Thompson is also a research fellow in African American Cultural Heritage at Lincoln University and the visiting theologian for mission at Grace Mosaic Church in Washington, D.C. The January Series is a FREE 15-day lecture series that takes place each year at Calvin University and aims to cultivate deep thought and conversations about important issues of the day in order to inspire cultural renewal and make us better global citizens in God's world.

Additionally, the author will be joining us for one hour to discuss the book with us. From the New York Times bestselling author of The Last Bookshop in London comes a moving new novel inspired by the true history of America’s library spies of World War II.

  4. Little Global Citizen

    Georgetown Charter Township Public Library Children's Programming Room

    Kids ages 6-12, join us as we learn about a new country each month! Using a subscription box called Little Global Citizens, we will learn about a different country each month. We'll read a book and then have stations with some fun games, activities, and crafts based on the culture of the country. You can travel the world without ever leaving Michigan! Registration required. New Policy: If you register for a children's program and don't attend (without canceling your registration by the start of the program) twice in a row, you will not be able to register for children's programs for one month. You may stop by at the start of a program to see if there's room and you may still attend drop-in programs.
