Whether you are a beginner or the owner of a green thumb, stop by the library to "check out" packets from our seed library. All ages are welcome to participate while supplies last. Please take up to 3 packages per family.
Our seed library cabinet is located by the Circulation Desk on the main level of the library.

Explore oceans of possibilities this summer by playing Adult Summer Reading BINGO. Download and print the BINGO card, or come into the library to get a paper copy.
For each book you read or listen to mark off a corresponding box on the BINGO card. Use one book one time per card, please.
Any row- across, down, or diagonal counts as a BINGO.
Complete one BINGO and receive a water bottle or mug AND a coupon pack for a free used book from our booksale, an upgraded express book checkout, and $5.00 toward overdue fines.
Complete two BINGOs and receive a coupon for a free cookie from the GT Farmers Market and a raffle entry for a prize
For the 3rd and 4th BINGO you complete you will be entered into a drawing for a gift card to a local business.
Complete the whole board (25 books) and you will be entered into the grand prize drawing for a $50 Meijer gift card.
Join us for our annual Kid's Summer Reading Program! This year, kids and teens ages 5 and up will be tracking all online. Register on ReadSquared, track your reading, and win prizes! There will be a PDF reading log on our website if you prefer tracking on paper, but reading must be logged online in order to redeem prizes.
Kids under 5 can pick up an activity sheet at the library, and when it's completed they get a free book!

Join us in the children's courtyard to make a fun Mason Jar Aquarium craft!
Ages 6-12. Registration required.
New Policy: If you register for a children's program and don't attend (without canceling your registration by the start of the program) twice in a row, you will not be able to register for children's programs for one month. You may stop by at the start of a program to see if there's room and you may still attend drop-in programs.
Georgetown Charter Township Public Library Meeting Room AB
Interested ukulele players of all skill levels are invited! Sing as a group while accompanying yourself and others. Song lyrics with cord diagrams for "GCEA" tuned ukuleles will be projected on the screen for everyone. All ages are welcome--great family activity!
Participants must supply their own ukuleles.
Stop by the library lobby and check out an outdoor game to play outdoors at the library.
Games include: Lawn Jenga, Giant Uno, Giant Checkers, Connect 4, Ladder Toss, Lawn Dominoes, Ring Toss, Corn Hole, Bowling, and Yard Dice.
Games can be checked out for 1 hour; final checkout will be at 4PM.

Head out to the outdoor courtyard outside the Children's Area and enjoy a float with ice cream and a variety of pop flavors. In the event of rain, this will be held in the Children's Program Room.
Chat a little, craft a little. Come to the library and chat with other adults. We are going to create a piece of watercolor mosaic art.
This program will be held upstairs in Meeting Room AB. Please register each adult as space and supplies are limited.
Kids 6 and up! Join us for a summer baking club! Each week we'll make a different Bread In A Bag recipe. You'll pick up a kit at the library with most of the ingredients needed (you'll need to supply some common ingredients and tools). On Monday, Miss Kaelyn will email a video of a Little Red Hen Read-Aloud, plus an instruction video for making the bread!
This week, we'll be reading Help Yourself, Little Red Hen, and making cinnamon bread!
Registration required, please only register for one kit per family. Kits must be picked up by 9pm on Tuesday. Email required for link to video read-aloud and instructions. Paper instructions will also be included.

In a peaceful retirement village, four unlikely friends meet weekly in the Jigsaw Room to discuss unsolved crimes; together they call themselves The Thursday Murder Club. Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron might be pushing eighty but they still have a few tricks up their sleeves.
When a local developer is found dead with a mysterious photograph left next to the body, the Thursday Murder Club suddenly find themselves in the middle of their first live case. As the bodies begin to pile up, can our unorthodox but brilliant gang catch the killer, before it’s too late?
Join Mel Zoerhof for Family Yoga and Literacy! Kids of all ages and their adults can join us for stories, songs, and yoga.
