The Ottawa County Road Commission has started doing some of the work necessary to prepare for rebuilding Cottonwood Drive in the Summer of 2018. The week of February 5, the OCRC started taking care some of the utility work that needs to be done before construction begins. The week of February 12 was the beginning of the process to remove the trees that are in the Right-of-Way. The tree work should be completed around March 23, and the utility work will go right up until the Reconstruction Phase begins in May. Please see the attached Anticipated Timeline to get an idea of what the timing on the rest of the project will be.
