The following activities were successfully completed at the Georgetown Township Senior Center during the month of July 2007:

Education and Health:

· Blood Pressure Screen with Judy Boven, R.N. from Oak Crest Manors - 22 participants

· Trim Class for weight management – 116 participants

· Exercise Class with Fitness Instructor Cathy Walker – 59 participants

· Matter of Balance Class by sunset Home Health – 52 participants

· Yoga & Pilates – 21 participants

Nutritional Services:

· Total meals provided for Georgetown Township Seniors – 286 at center, 268 home delivered

· Commodities – 53 recipients

· Transportation to Meijer for grocery shopping – 34 participants

· Family Fare – 2 participants

Trips:

· Lunch Bunch to Clementines – 29 participants

· Jam Night in Coopersville – 12 participants

· Bach Lunch – 7 participants

· “Rapunzal” @ Master Arts – 11

· “Sunday in the Park with George” @ Circle – 20

· Holland Farm Market – 9 participants

· Zeeland Hospital – 8 participants

· Hudsonville Vet’s Park – 7 participants

· Kathy’s Cottage – 22 Participants

· Holland Street Performers – 15 participants

· Michigan Princess – 14 participants

· Picnic Pops – 9 participants

Spiritual Services:

· Bible Study: Lessons on the book of Joshua, led by different local Pastors each week – 156 participants

Special Events:

· Monthly Potluck - 26 participants

· Breakfast Bingo –29 participants

· Jewelry Party– 20 Participants

Social and Recreational:

· Watercolor Class - 12 participants

· Cards - 29 participants

· Pool Players –42 participants

· Ping Pong –8 participants

· BUNCO Players – 32 participants

Georgetown Township Transportation – Ottawa County Specialized Services:

· Total rides provided in July– 1,327

Total units of service provided by the Georgetown Senior Center program: 2,757
