1. Call to order:   7:30 AM

3. Approval of last meetings minutes.

4. Item to consider:

 

     Request to purchase new mower by Parks/Cemetary. Two old mowers to be sold.

 

     2000 Exmark, Approx. value                  $6500.00

     1997 Kubota, front deck, Approx. value   $2500.00

 

     A. Westenbroek Outdoor Power Equipment, Jenison, MI

 

               Kohler, 60", 30 HP,                                                    $7,936.00

 

     B. Corner Sales, Byron Center Ave, Byron Center, MI.

 

              Ferris Zero Turn, 30 HP/61".  Kohler engine. Not in stock. $9,475.00

 

             Briggs engine,    30 HP/61". instock                                 $8,975.00

 

     C. Kubota of  West Michigan.  100 th, Street, Byron Center, MI.

 

             Exmark, 31 HP, 60" mower.                                           $8,630.64

 

            Motion by Richard VK to recommend the mower from Westenbroek Co. to the Township Board at a cost of $7,936.00. Recommened by R. Deemter.

  5. Item to consider.

 

      A. Memorial Day program/service at the Georgetown Cemetary.

 

        Motion: To recommened to the Township Board that we have a Service at the

                   Georgetown Cemetary as in the past. Motion by South.

 

        Second by: Richard VK

 

       Motion carried :  3/0

 

6. Item to consider.

 

      A. National day of prayer service at the Georgetown Office on May 3, 2007.

 

 Motion by South to the Georgetown Township Board to recommend, not to have the service on National Prayer Day at the Georgetown Office due to other services being done in the area churches.        

 

         Seconded by Richard Vander Klok.
