By adding an additional Receiving Board, two more people are needed to staff the additional Receiving Board.

Jill Skilley was approved at the Election Commission meeting on August 4, 2006, however, she lives outside the Township and can not serve on the Receiving Board.

Lydia Brown, Mannette Miner and Jan South have agreed to serve on the third Receiving Board. One will replace Jill Skilley and the other two names will staff the third board.

4. Motion: To appoint Lydia Brown, Mannette Minier and Jan South to the Georgetown

Charter Township Receiving Board for the November 7, 2006 election.

5. Approve pay rates for Election Workers:

Pay for election workers at August 2006 Primary was as follows:

$10.50 per hour for training classes and no mileage reimbursement.

$160.00 for election inspectors on Election Day. All day.

$180.00 for the co-chairs at each poll.

$200.00 for the chair at each poll.

$60.00 for each receiving board member.

Need motion to keep the pay the same as the August Primary, for the November 7, 2006 election and to include the pay for receiving board members if they are not Township Employee’s.
