ELECTION COMMISSION MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 26, 2006 9:00 AM

 

 

 

  1. Call to order by Chairman D. South.

 

  1. Roll call, Del South, Dale Mohr, Richard Vander Klok present.

 

  1. Approve list of Election Precinct workers.

                       

      Motion by Vander Klok, supported by Mohr to approve the list of workers.

 

      Motion passed.

 

  1. Approve Receiving Boards.

 

             Motion by Vander Klok, support by Mohr to go to 3 Receiving Boards due to the       amount of work involved.

 

            Motion passed.

 

            Motion to recommend appointment of Peggy Shepard, Angie Bronkema, Paul                Brower, to the Receiving Board for the November election.

 

             Motion passed.

 

       5. Approve returning to a Chair and Co-Chair for each Precinct.

           

           Motion by Vander Klok, support by Mohr.

 

           Motion passed.

 

       6.  Recommend to the Township Board  paying the Chair of each Election Inspector           position $200.00 per day. Co-Chair to remain at $180.00 per day.

 

           Motion by Vander Klok, support by Mohr.

 

           Motion passed.
