MINUTES OF THE GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD JANUARY 20, 2006

The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Bill Holland.

#060120-01 - Minutes of January 6, 2006

Moved by Bill Holland, seconded by Daniel Carlton, to approve the minutes as presented.

MOTION CARRIED.

#060120-02 - The proposed Board agenda for January 23, 2006 was reviewed and discussed.

#060120-03 – Authorize Clerk to Solicit Bids for Vehicle and to Trade Old Vehicle

Moved by Bill Holland, seconded by R. J. Poel, to recommend to the Board to authorize the Clerk to solicit bids for a vehicle and to trade an old vehicle.

MOTION CARRIED.

#060120-04 – Authorization to Sell Two Fire Vehicles

Moved by Bill Holland, seconded by R. J. Poel, to recommend to the Board to authorize the sale of two fire vehicles (878 and 2201).

MOTION CARRIED.

#060120-05 – Authorization to Seek Bids for a DPW New Generator & to Sell the Old One

Moved by Bill Holland, seconded by Daniel Carlton, to recommend to the Board to authorize the seeking of bids for a new DPW generator for an estimated cost of $32,000 and to accept the bid of $8,100 to sell the old one (SULLAIR 70 KW) and to place the item on the consent agenda.

Moved by R. J. Poel, seconded by Bill Holland, to recommend to the Board to approve the Resolution and to place the item on the consent agenda.

#060120-04 - Drain Improvements for the Lowing-Comstock Drain

Moved by Bill Holland, seconded by Daniel Carlton, to recommend to the Board to approve the drain improvements for a section of the Lowing- Comstock Drain, Township cost to be 87% of $4920.00 which is $4280.00, as per the estimate from the Drain Commissioner and to place the item on the consent agenda.
