MINUTES OF THE GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 23, 2005, 8:30 a.m.

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 p.m. by Chairperson Bill Holland.

Present: Bill Holland and Daniel Carlton, members, and Mannette Minier, secretary

Absent: R. J. Poel

1. The proposed Board agenda for September 26, 2005 was reviewed and discussed.

2. Extend Approval Time for a Planned Unit Development

The Board granted preliminary approval for the PUD on 3-22-04 and the Planning Commission approved the final development plan on 11-17-05. Sec. 22.13 states that each PUD development shall be under construction within 12 months after the date of approval for the final development plan (which is 11-17-05). The section further states that the Board may grant one extension of up to an additional twelve month period if the applicant applies for such extension prior to the date of the expiration of the PUD provided that the applicant presents reasonable evidence that said development has encountered unforeseen difficulties beyond the control of the applicant and the PUD requirements have not changed.
