The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairperson Bill Holland.

#050314-04 - Introduction of Senior Center bus drivers, receptionist and volunteers

 

It was noted that 100,272 miles have been driven without any accidents.

 

#050314-05 - Purchase Two Computers for the Fire Department

 

Moved by Daniel Carlton, seconded by R. J. Poel, to approve the purchase of two new computers for the Fire Department, one is to be a laptop and one is to be a desktop, for a total of $2,500

Moved by Richard VanderKlok, seconded by R. J. Poel, to purchase a plastic I.D. card printer, to produce Township ID cards, access cards, and gift cards; printer, software and supplies for a total of $3,500.

#050314-07 – Public Comment

 

Les Denuyl, 1904 Pleasantwood, said that a left turn lane should be provided for the entrances into the Jenison High School and Junior High for safety reasons.

 

#050314-08 – Left Turn Lane on Bauer Rd. and on 20th Ave.

 

Moved by Daniel Carlton, seconded by Richard VanderKlok, to refer the matter of left turn lanes into the Jenison High School and Junior High to the Utilities/Facilities Committee.

#050314-09 - Monthly Bills

 

Moved by R. J. Poel, seconded by Daniel Carlton, to approve payment of bills in the amount of $270,059.43 and the amount of $88,762.79 is taxes collected for other units.
