The Fire Chief was present at the meeting to explain the requested purchase of a Fire Rescue Truck.
A. Motion
to recommend to the GT Township Board the purchase of the
SVI Fire
Rescue truck as recommended by the Fire Chief for a total amount of
$527,484.79.
Motion by: R. Vander Klok
Seconded by M. Van Sommeren Vote: 3/0 to approve the recommendation.
B. Motion to recommend to the GT Township Board
to accept the option, located
on The Apparatus Bid Proposal, to Deduct $7,520.00 from the
total Bid Amount if Chassis is paid for
in full upon completion of the chassis at the chassis
Manufacturing
factory.

C. Motion
to recommend to the GT Township Board the purchase of (4) SCBA’s,
in the amount
of$15,300.00 with the funds coming from the Turnout Gear line item.

Georgetown Townships share to come from a Budget Amendment to the
Turnout gear line item.

5. 2008 Library Fees
Request made by the Librarian to increase fees for the Library for 2008.
Motion to recommend to the GT Township Board to increase the Library Fees
presented by the Library Directory.
Motion by: M. Van Sommeren
Seconded by: R. Vander Klok Vote: 3/0 to approve the
recommendation.
6. Other business:
M. Van Sommeren agreed to meet with the Township Supervisor on the
recommendations for the Parks improvement for 2008. He will report
back to the Services Committee.
