Summer Tax Collection

Motion: To direct the Superintendent to explore transferring the collection of summer taxes to the County Treasurer, as recommended by the Finance Committee. The current agreement runs through 2018.

The committee is concerned about the confusion caused with the Township collecting summer taxes. Taxpayers mistakenly believe that the Township utilizes those funds, when in fact those funds are immediately transferred to the State, County, and local school districts.

Senior Center Non-Resident Fee

Motion: To approve an increase in the Non-Resident Annual Membership Fee from $25.00 to $50.00, as recommended by the Services Committee.
