Willink Construction Inc., 1549 Kalamazoo SE, Grand Rapids, (for Eric Newof, 6441 Ardmore Ave.), is requesting the following variances:
- To locate an accessory building in the required front yard 10.5 feet from the right-of-way line, a variance of 29.5 feet from the 40 feet required in Chapter 24 for a front yard that abuts a street;
- To locate an accessory building in the front yard, a variance from Sec. 3.4(A) which states that accessory buildings and uses shall not be erected in any front or required side yard, and a variance from Sec. 3.4(F) which states in residential districts, a detached accessory building shall be located in the rear yard or non-required side yard of the lot;
- To locate an accessory building 10.5 feet from the right-of-way line, a variance of 29.5 feet from Sec. 3.4(C) which states all accessory buildings shall meet the same setback requirements from a street right-of-way line as required for the main building, and from Sec. 3.4(D) which states when an accessory building or use is located on a corner lot, the side lot line of which is substantially a continuation of the front lot line of the lot to its rear, said building or use shall not project beyond the front yard setback line required on the lot in the rear of such corner lot;
in a (LDR) Low Density Residential district, on a parcel of land described as P.P. # 70-14-23-476-016, located at 6441 Ardmore Ave., Georgetown Township, Ottawa County, Michigan.
